Hey Tino! Thanks for joining. No worries about schooling … I also obtained a graduate degree that in essence gave me the social affordances to be a healthcare clinician. Take the good bits and move on that is good advice and that has kind of been my plan!
My frustrations with the school has been with a lot of the outdated narratives being taught, and a very structural viewpoint of the human body even though the biopsychosocial model is mentioned every now and then. It feels like we are being taught to think of the biospychosocial model as a dichtonomy as these seperate things from each other and that physios are like mechanics that would only work with the bio parts of humans.
