I'm currently reading Thinking Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman, Aches and Pains by Louis Gifford. After finishing those i have The Health Gap. The Challenge of an Unequal World by Michael Marmot waiting to be read.
I’m reading a hard copy of Being Wrong by Kathryn Schulz and listening to the audiobook version of The Misinformation Age by Cailin O’Connor and James Owen Weatherall. I’m thoroughly enjoying both but Being Wrong has really changed how I interact with those around me and has improved my ability to approach conversations in a less “I’m already right” type of demeanor. Definitely a top 5 book for me.
Also currently reading Being Mortal. Reading it as part of a portfolio project for my geriatrics class. Interesting read so far and looking forward to diving deeper into the book.
I'm reading The Illness Narratives by Arthur Kleinman (mentor/collaborator with the late Paul Farmer) and at last slowly getting through The Master and His Emissary by Iain McGilchrist.
